Harry Houdini is the most infamous escape artist in world history. He lived from 1874 to 1926 and became world-famous for his magic tricks and numerous escapes, where he would get out of enclosed rooms, coffins, boxes, locked bags, and occasionally submerged in water tanks, so the air was limited. In 1926, he died of internal bleeding shortly after an incident where a mentally confused guest hit him in the stomach.
