It was in Room 13 that the big fire started in 1919, the fire that destroyed large parts of The Old Hotel and caused the death of 52 people, both guests and employees, adults and children. During the long reconstruction of the Hotel, attempts were made on several occasions to rebuild Room 13, but it was impossible and several people disappeared without a trace inside it and since many believed that the Room was evil, it was carefully closed off and sealed. Supposedly, Room 13 also had a secret connection to the Old Insane Hospital, which was otherwise closed in 1895. The Hotel Director also states: "We haven't had overnight guests in Room 13 since the fire... not voluntarily at least" Do you know the legend of Mephisto? Mephisto is the most evil of all, the Devil himself. He has made his presence known at the Hotel and the Kolding Old Insane Asylum due to all the evil deeds that have been committed over time by people like Chief Physician J.H Seidelin and the other gruesome doctors and nurses, who have resided there over time. Mephisto's evil has a very strong grip over the entire area and it was him who in 1919 started the fire at the Hotel Trapped. In the burning Room 13 lived Alice with her Nanny Ms. Bodil Hansen. They tried in vain to escape the flames, but couldn't... Alice disappeared without a trace in the fire and her young soul was trapped in Mephisto's Evil. Many have since tried in vain to save the young girl's soul, but for unknown reasons, none of them have ever come out of Room 13 again. Now you have the opportunity to make your way into the sealed Room, and with your wits, win the battle against Mephisto's evil and rescue Alice's soul from Darkness.
